I became passionate about skincare because I used to have a job that traveled and the stress and constant climate changes were taking a toll on my skin. After graduating from the Skin Care and Spa Institute in Skokie, I've worked with doctors, plastic surgeons and dermatologist in spas, medical offices, and medspas. I've been poked, needled, micro'd, injected and have had every imaginable treatment on my face. With over 14 years experience in skincare I bring a knowledge and expertise to you. Cyntisha Coats is a native Ohioan who has ingrained herself in the Chicago creative scene as a director, comedian, writer, and producer. Her extensive experience in the customer service and beauty industry spans over several years. Cyntisha specializes in lymphatic massage and gender affirming scar care. She considers it an immense honor and privilege to be a part of the Apothecary EO team as the lead esthetician.

Jess attended esthetics school in 2013 at the Skin Care and Spa Institute, and had been working as an esthetician, with a passion for skin. “I strongly believe that beautiful skin is healthy skin” I have received so much gratification over the past ten years from the positive impact in skincare on clients as they see their skin improve. JANICE
MASSAGE THERAPIST
Janice studied massage therapy at Pacific College of Health Sciences where the curriculum included traditional Chinese medical theory, East Asian massage and related therapies along with anatomy, physiology and western massage techniques. I later pursued additional training in Shiatsu and Reiki at Zen Shiatsu in Evanston. My years of working in chiropractic offices and health clubs have made me comfortable performing deep tissue and sports massage, but I never leave out the essential energy work that helps make a massage both relaxing and therapeutic. Too often, our stress lives in our bodies and in our skin, making us look and feel dull, lifeless, and tired. By entering deep relaxation, or the parasympathetic state, we can allow our body to do what it does best, heal itself. I’m thrilled to be partnering with the talented team at Apothecary EO and look forward to helping guests refresh and recharge in a comfortable and convenient spa setting.

Born and raised in Chicago, my passion for skincare led me to become a licensed esthetician in 2023. I love learning about skin health, professional treatments, and skincare products, and I’m passionate about sharing that knowledge with my clients.
I find fulfillment in helping clients address their skin concerns, achieve their skincare goals, enjoy a moment of relaxation, and feel confident in their skin. Along with customized skincare treatments, I also provide waxing services, with a focus on making every client feel comfortable and cared for. My goal is to create a welcoming, personalized experience while helping each client look and feel their best.
